There is one word I would use to describe how I felt during my first pregnancy.  Terrified.  Starting with the idea of labor, the whole idea of becoming a parent was pretty much the scariest thing ever!  However, when I asked Jon about how he felt about becoming a new dad, he said he was excited.

Excited.  You see, when you’ve just gotten home from serving abroad for the U.S. Air Force, excitement is just the beginning of your parenting adventure.  I mean, how many of us can imagine carrying ultrasound photos with us while serving overseas?!

Mandy told us that the first thing Jon did when he got home was to put together the crib. Seriously, how cute is that?!

It’s obvious these two already love their little one, and will make great parents!

You may remember Mandy & Jon from their engagement session last year (CT Wedding Photographer).  Such a cute couple, and I love how they interact so easily when we photograph them.

When we asked them to give “attitude” they looked at us a little confused.  Then Mandy said, “I don’t think we HAVE attitude”.  That’s how sweet they are!

Jon & Mandy, we wish you the best of everything in your new adventure.  Your little one is lucky to have such great parents!
